The service light coming on in your BMW 3 Series should not worry you; it is simply a reminder to perform regular maintenance on the vehicle, such as oil changes and more. If you perform this maintenance yourself, remember to reset the light. Here are the steps to do it correctly: turn on the ignition, press and hold the button to the left of the odometer to access Settings, scroll through the list using the directional buttons on the left side of the steering wheel, and finally, press and hold the SC button on the same lever to reset.
