How to Reset the Service Light in a BMW X1

Model: BMW X1 F48 - Years 2015-2022

To reset the service light on a BMW X1, get in the vehicle and turn on the instrument cluster by pressing the Start button without starting the engine, and wait for the display to turn on. Press and hold the trip odometer reset button until the maintenance menu appears on the cluster. Release the button and press it again at intervals to scroll through the various available service items. When the service item to reset appears on the display, hold the button until the reset request appears. Continue holding it for a few seconds until the operation is confirmed and the warning disappears from the instrument cluster.
