How to Replace the Headlight Bulb in a BMW 3

Replace the headlight bulbs in your BMW 3 Series if they are burned out or damaged. Let's go through the disassembly. Open the hood by pulling the lever located at the bottom right of the dashboard and secure it with the prop rod. Locate the headlight inspection cover and remove it with a screwdriver (located at the top of the headlight). Once the headlight is open, find the bulbs with their sockets: pull the sockets out of the headlight and remove the damaged bulbs. Install the new bulbs (always the correct type and size). Close the access cover of the headlight.
