In order to replace the ignition coils (integral at the head of the spark plugs themselves) it is first necessary to remove the engine casing (the one with the word BMW written on it): remove the caps and unscrew the fixing screws. Then release the fastening safety of the connector and extract the connector itself; then levering with a screwdriver or using a parrot wrench remove the pipette by pulling it upwards. Then insert the new pipette making sure that it goes down to the end of its stroke and fits into its seat. Finally, re-attach the socket and then the fastening safety device. Refit the engine cover.
