Model: BMW Serie 3 E92, E91, E90 - Years 2005-2013
Part: Coolant temperature sensor
Operation: How to see the water temperature on a BMW 3 Series

To be able to see the temperature of the cooling system of our BMW 3 Series, we will have to go to open the internal menu. To do this, we will have to start by going to sit in the driver's seat of the car, and then start the engine. At this point, we will have to hold down the left button inside the instrumentation, until "01.00" appears on the multifunction display. After that, with the previously mentioned button, we will have to go to select "19.00", and then hold it down again. By doing so, "LOCK: OFF" will appear in the display, and we will have to go to select "ON". Once we have selected "ON", we will have to highlight "CODE: 30", and then go back. When we have completed this last step, we will be able to return to "07.00", and we will have reached the display screen of the temperature of the cooling system.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
