Let's see how to disassemble the starter motor on BMW Z4 with related parts. We raise the front hood to access the engine, we identify the pieces to be disassembled. We disconnect the cables from the car battery power supply. We remove (with a socket wrench and nose pliers) the soundproofing panel of the engine with attached cables. We disassemble the exhaust connector, then, we disconnect the terminals of the starter motor power supply. We unscrew the locking pins of the starter motor with a socket wrench and remove it from the engine compartment. We replace the damaged part with a new one of the same type.
