Removing the Starter Motor on a BMW Z4

Let's see how to remove the starter motor on a BMW Z4 along with its components. Lift the hood to access the engine, and identify the parts to be removed. Disconnect the battery power cables. Remove the soundproofing panel from the engine using a socket wrench and needle-nose pliers, along with the attached wires. Remove the exhaust connector, then disconnect the power terminals of the starter motor. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the mounting bolts of the starter motor and remove it from the engine compartment. Replace the damaged part with a new one of the same type.
