Replacing the Starter Motor on BMW 330I

How to remove the starter motor from a BMW 3 Series? Let's go through the disassembly of the parts from the engine compartment. Lift the hood, disconnect the battery cables. Remove the engine soundproofing panel along with the attached wires. Disconnect the exhaust connector, then disconnect the starter motor power terminals using pliers or a screwdriver depending on the pressure of the tabs. Use a socket wrench to remove the mounting bolts of the starter motor and take it out from the engine compartment. Install the new starter motor in the designated space along with the electrical terminals.
