How to Replace the Window Regulator on BMW 3 Series

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006

Let's see how to remove the window regulator from a BMW 3 Series. Disconnect the electrical connectors before removing any parts. Remove the trim above the door panel and unscrew the screws located underneath it. Use a plastic trim tool to remove the cover in the handle and unscrew the screw inside. Once removed, unscrew the screws located under the handle as well. Detach the door panel and disconnect the window regulator and speaker connectors. Now that the door panel is removed, peel off the adhesive cover from the metal, and unscrew the window motor with a screwdriver. Replace the entire window regulator assembly.
