To open the fuel door on a BMW 3 Series, press the designated button located under the steering wheel and wait for a message on the dashboard that allows you to open the fuel door. Then, apply a light pressure on the door, and it will open automatically.

Sometimes, if you try to open the door without pressing the button in the cabin, it may get stuck. In this case, to unlock it, remove the trunk panel as shown in the video and pull the green cord.

This will allow the fuel door to unlock.
