Operation: How do you reset the oil service warning light on the BMW 3 Series e46?

To reset the BMW 3 Series e46 Oil Service warning light, press and hold the button on the left side of the dashboard and insert the ignition key until the ignition turns on. Now the message "__test" will appear on the display: by continuing to hold the button down, the previous message will change to "reset". When this message starts to flash, release the button and press it again. The writing will disappear, so you have to press the button again making the word "end" appear. At this point the reset of the light will have been completed correctly.

The orange tire light indicates the presence of one or more tires with an inflation pressure below the recommended limit.
