Spark Plug Replacement and Maintenance

This video explains how to replace the spark plugs on a BMW 3 Series. Before starting, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and work with a completely cold engine. Open the hood and locate the spark plug box, remove the two plastic caps covering the bolts that secure the box and remove them with a socket wrench. Unscrew the top cap and uncover the box. Using a 10 mm socket, loosen the bolt that secures the spark plug connector. Disconnect the coil. Do this for all the spark plugs. Using a spark plug removal socket, unscrew and extract them. Check the condition of the old spark plugs: if they show no significant wear issues, reinstall them after treating them with some anti-seize compound. If they show problems, replace them with new plugs.
