How to Replace the Cabin Filter on a BMW X1

In this video tutorial, you can see how to replace the cabin filter on a BMW X1. First, ensure the engine is off and engage the parking brake. The cabin filter is located under the passenger side dashboard. Now that you know where it is, start removing the covers to access it. Unscrew the retaining screws of the cover located at the bottom of the dashboard, then remove it from its housing. Next, disconnect the various electrical connectors from above the cover. Once the screw is removed, you can take off the protective cover. Clean the filter container thoroughly from any impurities and place the new filter inside the container.
