How to Reinitialize the Windows on a BMW 3 Series E36

When you disconnect the battery for any reason on your BMW 3 Series E46, you need to reinitialize the one-touch anti-pinch feature (the feature that allows the window to go up by itself) on all windows. Our video shows how to do this. Turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Press the button and lower the windows. Then raise them again. Count slowly to six and lower them again. Then raise them again and count slowly to six once more. This will memorize the upper limit and the anti-pinch feature, and the window adjustments should be back to normal.
