Complete Cylinder Head Revision Instructions
Model: BMW Serie 3
E36
- Years 1990-2001
Before installing the cylinder head, check the flatness of the surface using a straightedge and a feeler gauge; proceed to replace the valve guide seals by releasing the return springs with the appropriate arch clamp, removing the valve and the old seal to insert the new one generously lubricated; apply new gaskets to the water inlet and the exhaust manifold; inspect the cylinder block surface, re-tap the threads of the cylinder head mounting holes, taking care not to let chips fall into the cylinders; place the new gasket and the cylinder head using a new set of studs to secure it (cross-locking pattern with a torque wrench); insert the new valve lifters generously lubricated and the new camshaft; align the timing marks and install the timing gears and the timing chain; complete the assembly with the valve cover and the intake manifold, also replacing the gaskets in this case.

How to Replace the Engine Air Filter on a Peugeot Partner
The engine air filter for this car model is located at the rear of the engine bay, directly under the windscreen, in a central position: to access the filter housing, first remove the brake fluid reservoir; then you can unscrew the three front screws that secure the filter container cover, release the side latch, and complete the removal of the cover; then extract the old filter, remove any dirt residue, ensuring no impurities enter the intake, install the new filter ensuring the seal fits perfectly against the edges of the box, and refit the cover and brake fluid reservoir. by ScegliAuto More videos
