Coolant Replacement

Model: BMW X3 E83, MK 1 - Years 2003-2010
Part: Antifreeze coolant

When performing maintenance on the engine cooling system (radiator replacement, hose, expansion tank, etc.) that requires draining the system, it is good practice to refill it with the appropriate antifreeze: this is a mixture of water (preferably distilled) and ethylene glycol (C2H6O2) that prevents the liquid from freezing even at very low temperatures. There are ready-to-use mixtures or concentrated solutions available on the market that need to be diluted. To refill the system, turn on the cabin heater to maximum temperature to open the valve for filling the internal radiator, unscrew the vent near the fill cap, and insert the liquid until the level is reached. At the end of the operation, wait for the engine to reach its operating temperature until the thermostat valve opens and the cooling fans turn on; at this point, wait a moment and check the liquid level.

How to Replace the Key Fob Battery for an Audi A4

How do you replace the battery in the key fob of an Audi A4? Let's see how to do it in detail: take your remote and press the button to release the metal key (if present). Once extracted, use a lever to separate the two covers (as shown in the video). Remove the dead battery from the compartment (after separating the two halves of the covers), take a new one of the same size and voltage. Reassemble the plastic battery holder into the remote cover, then insert the metal key back into the cover. Check the remote's proper functioning.
