How to reset the service light on the BMW X1.

After performing the operation of replacing the engine oil and filter on this car model, we must proceed to reset and update the service light that is on the dashboard. To do this, we find the complete procedure and related steps to achieve the goal in the description below. Turn on your car without starting the engine. Insert the key and do not touch the pedals, then press the START button once. Hold down the RESET button. Keep holding down the RESET button to advance and wait until the service menu is displayed. Display the ENGINE OIL. Once done, you can scroll through the RESET to display different items and find the ENGINE OIL. Hold down the RESET button. Once there, hold your finger on the RESET button and it will say Reset. Press the RESET button again to confirm and you're done.
