Replacing the dipped beam bulbs in the BMW 1 Series, as shown in this tutorial, is an extremely simple and quick task. First, ensure that the key is not in the ignition for safety. Then, go to the wheel arch on the side you will be working on and, using a flat-head screwdriver, open the cover located at the front of it. Next, unscrew the large circular cap, turn the bulb counter-clockwise, and remove it from the headlamp. At this point, simply connect the replacement bulb and follow the reverse procedure.
