Radiator Mount Removal

Model: BMW Serie 3 E36 - Years 1990-2001

The radiator mounts are actually rubber washers that dampen vibrations and support the radiator itself. To remove and replace these mounts, you need to take off several other components from the front of the vehicle, such as the headlights and the bumper, to create enough working space to lower the radiator sufficiently to extract the mounts. Start by removing everything that interferes with the radiator, including the hood release cable and the related latches. Once the radiator is free, you can remove the mounts.
