How to Replace the Serpentine Belt on the BMW 3 Series

To replace the serpentine belt on the BMW 3 Series, open the hood to access the components inside the engine compartment. At the front, you will find the air filter box, which needs to be removed by unscrewing its mounting screws and disconnecting the attached hoses. Once the air filter box is removed, you can locate the serpentine belt at the front of the engine block. By unscrewing the bolts that secure the tensioner, you can reduce the tension on the belt, slide it off, and replace it with a new one.
