In this tutorial, you will see how to remove the exterior rearview mirror on a BMW 3 Series, a very simple and quick operation. First, open the door you will be working on, then detach the cover of the handle and remove the exposed screws.

Next, take out the window switch console, separate the panel from the door, and disconnect both the connector and the lock cable. At this point, just unscrew the mounting bolts of the mirror, remove it from the bracket, and install the replacement.
