Replacing the timing belt on a BMW Mini is similar to all other vehicles produced by the manufacturer. This operation can be a bit complex to perform independently, but with our video tutorial, you can attempt the replacement. Start by opening the front bonnet and pulling the compressor belt to one side using a 13 mm Torx key, then remove the belt. Continue by returning the pulley to its position, then use a 16 mm spanner to tension the poly V belt so you can remove it. Now install the new belt and return the tensioner to position.
