Replacing the Center Console in Your Car

This guide shows how to disassemble and reassemble the center console of your car. Perform the following operations: Remove the shift knob by pulling it firmly upward, and if possible, use one hand to hold the shift lever. Disassemble the radio, being careful not to damage the console. Once the radio is removed, unscrew the 4 screws located in the radio compartment. Next, remove the cigarette lighter, which is also clipped in. Now, disconnect the fan control block, then lift the two levers above and push the three knobs inward, separating the entire block from the console. Carefully, it will detach on its own, paying close attention to the connectors attached to it.
