How to top up the coolant on a BMW 3 Series?

To top up the coolant on a BMW 3 Series, follow these steps. Make sure the engine is cool before proceeding. Open the hood and locate the coolant reservoir, usually transparent and located near the engine. Check the coolant level, which should be between the minimum and maximum lines on the reservoir. If the level is low, carefully remove the reservoir cap. Use a clean funnel to add specific BMW coolant, mixed with distilled water in the correct ratio, until it reaches the maximum line. Make sure the reservoir cap is tightly closed to avoid leaks. After adding the coolant, start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to allow the coolant to circulate through the system. Check the coolant level again and add more if necessary to reach the maximum line. Close the hood and make sure it is securely closed. Check the coolant level periodically and top up if necessary to keep your BMW 3 Series engine in excellent condition.
