How to reset the Service light on the BMW 1 Series?

To reset the Service light on the BMW 1 Series, turn on the ignition so that the instrument cluster is active. Press and hold the button located on the left side of the cluster until a menu appears.

Navigate using the lever on the left side of the steering wheel. Once you select the option with the red car icon on a bridge, press and hold the button on the left side of the cluster again.

This will reset the Service light and the service interval.
