Cabin Air Filter Replacement

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006
Part: Cabin air filter

Obtain a cabin air filter of the same model as the original. The cabin air filter purifies the air inside the vehicle and is located in the engine compartment under the windshield. To access it, rotate the three hooks of the cover about ¼ turn. Remove the cover by lifting it. Once the filter cover is off, carefully pull the filter out of its housing to avoid dust dispersal. Place a cloth on the bottom to catch any dirt. Insert the new filter into the housing, ensuring it is oriented correctly, and close the cover with the hooks.
