How to Remove the Side Mirror from a BMW 3 Series

Do you want to remove the mirror from your BMW and don’t know how? Don’t worry, let’s go through the right steps together. Before starting the disassembly, disconnect the battery terminals. If you can’t find it, don’t be afraid; in your BMW, it is located in the rear hood, not the front like in most cars. Using a Torx 20 screwdriver, remove the internal door handle, being careful not to scratch it. Remove the large clip with a plastic trim tool, unscrew the screw in the slot, and once removed, unscrew the one for the internal door release lever as well. Detach the door panel, disconnect the window regulator and speaker connectors. Don’t lose any of the clips behind the plastic panel that we removed earlier. Disconnect the power connectors for the mirror, remove the plastic cover, and unscrew the pins with the screwdriver. Pull the mirror out from the outside while sliding the power wire.
