How to Install BMW 3 Series Accessory Kit

In this video, see how to remove and install the cigarette lighter kit in the center console of a BMW 3 Series. Position the gear shift knob vertically and pull it off. Then, use a plastic trim tool to remove the leather boot from the gear shift lever. Next, use the trim tool to pry at the edge of the center console. Once the cover is removed, disconnect all the power connectors. Unplug the cigarette lighter and replace it with a new one. Reassemble the center console cover and the gear shift knob with the boot.
