Replacing the Remote Battery of the BMW X1 E84

To replace the battery of the BMW X1 remote, gather protective gloves and a utility knife. Remove the metal key and use the utility knife to insert the blade a couple of millimeters along the edge to separate the two halves.

Once you finish the perimeter, hold the side with the logo facing down and separate the two halves. Remove the circuit board and use a soldering iron to desolder the battery from its assembly.

Take the new battery and solder it onto the circuit board. Reassemble it into the shell with the buttons, check for proper operation, apply a thin layer of cyanoacrylate glue along the edge, and join the two halves until the glue sets.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
