How to Replace the Remote Battery in a BMW 3 Series

To access the slot where the battery is housed, press the button on top of the key between the two loops for the keychain. This will allow you to extract the metal key from the remote. These simple steps will enable you to insert a flathead screwdriver into the central hole. By turning the screwdriver, you can lift the cover that protects the battery slot. Now it will be very easy to remove the old battery and replace it with a new one. Reverse the steps described for reassembling the various components.
