To replace the remote battery on Cadillac ATS, first prepare the necessary materials: a remote battery, model: "CR 2032 3V", and a small flathead screwdriver. Remove the metal key and insert the screwdriver tip into the slot to pry it open, running the screwdriver tip along the seam between the two halves to open the cover. Once you have opened the remote shell, you will see the battery housed inside; use the screwdriver tip to pry out the battery. After removing the old battery, replace it with the new one.
