How to Manually Open the Door of a Cadillac Elr

Model: Cadillac Elr MK 1 - Years 2014-2016

This video shows how to manually open the door of a Cadillac Elr in case of an electronic key failure. First, press and hold the button located at the bottom end of the key, and by applying slight pressure, you will be able to extract a metal part from it. Then, insert this part into the slot located behind the handle of the rear trunk and open it by turning the key clockwise. Inside the hood, at the top, you will find a tab connected to a cable. Pull it towards you, and the car door will open automatically.
