To reset the oil life light on the Cadillac XT5, use the buttons on the right side of the steering wheel. Use the arrows to navigate through the various screens available on the dashboard display and select the one related to vehicle status information.

Continue scrolling through the options in this submenu until you reach the one labeled "oil life." Now use the "SEL" button located between the four arrow buttons on the right side of the steering wheel and hold it down until the percentage displayed on the screen returns to 100%.
