In this tutorial, you will see how to reset the oil service light on a Cadillac XT5. Before performing this simple and quick operation, ensure you have completed all scheduled maintenance tasks, including changing the oil filter. Start by inserting the key and turning on the ignition. Then, using the buttons on the right side of the steering wheel, scroll left and then down until you find the screen related to the engine oil life. At this point, press and hold the "Select" button for about 5 seconds, or for as long as needed to reset the oil life to 100%.
