In this new guide, you will learn all the necessary steps to correctly and safely perform an engine oil change on your Cadillac XT5. Before you begin, remember that this operation must be performed with the engine off and sufficiently cool. Once you have taken the necessary precautions, reach the lower area of the engine compartment and unscrew the oil filter.

Replace it with a new one, and then unscrew the bolt that serves as the drain plug for the oil pan. Place a drain pan underneath and let all the old fluid flow out. Finally, reattach the plug and move to the upper area of the engine compartment. All that’s left is to refill the oil pan using a funnel, and you're done.
