How to Install the Grille on the Front of the Cadillac ATS

The mesh grille instead of the standard one gives the Cadillac a much more modern look. To remove the original grille, remove all the plastic clips around the grille - and there are quite a few - and take them out carefully to avoid breaking any that might get stuck in the slots where the new one will fit. Remove the emblem, which will be used later. Now cut the center part of the mask, leaving only the edges, which we will carefully sand down. If something breaks, you can repair it with liquid plastic, tape to hold the shape, and a lot of care. Then reshape it with a file when it is dry. If necessary, apply some two-component putty, which we will paint black when it is dry and it will become invisible. Now position the grille, temporarily securing it with zip ties and masking tape to avoid scratching the frame. Apply a generous amount of two-component adhesive around the entire perimeter of the frame. In the meantime, we have also painted the Cadillac emblem black. Position it in the center and glue it down well. Remove the zip ties and you're done. The result is stunning. Reinstall the mask. Job completed.
