How to Remove the Speaker on a Chevrolet Cruze

Model: Chevrolet Cruze MK 1, J300 - Years 2009-2015

Follow these steps to remove the speaker on a Chevrolet Cruze after removing the door panel. Before starting, disconnect the battery terminals located in the boot. Begin by removing the plastic trim at the corner of the window using a lever. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the securing screws located in the plastic handle and in the door opening lever area. Once all screws are removed, use the lever to detach the window switch panel and all plastic clips securing the door. Pull the door panel away with your hands, disconnect any power connectors and the release cable. Unscrew the screws securing the speaker embedded in the door with a screwdriver; remove the speaker and disconnect the power connector.
