Replacing the fuel pump on a Cruze? This operation is not too complicated. Let's look at removing the part from inside the tank. Disconnect the battery cables, then remove the rear seat cushions of the car. Unscrew the securing screws of the metal cap (if present) using a socket wrench, and remove it from its seat. Disconnect the power connectors and the fluid circulation tubes. Remove the pump and pull it out of the tank. Install the new working pump with the accompanying screws and electrical connectors. Test the fuel pump and finally refit the seats.
