Battery Replacement for Chevrolet Equinox [USA]

Model: Chevrolet Equinox MK 2 - Years 2010-2017

Open the hood, locate the battery box which is on the right behind the headlight assembly, and lift the upper protective cover. Remove the cover above the headlight assembly by disengaging the retaining clips. Unscrew the nut that secures the upper metal bracket holding the battery. Disconnect the negative terminal first, followed by the positive terminal. Remove the battery and replace it with the new one. Reconnect the terminals to the new battery in reverse order, reposition the locking metal bracket, and place the cover back over the headlight assembly. Finally, replace the cover over the battery.
