To replace the window regulator on a Chevrolet Equinox, loosen the screws that secure the corresponding door panel: the screws are located inside the handle pocket, under the armrest trim, and beneath the inner cover near the mirror. Once all these screws are loosened, you can detach the panel and its underlying fabric cover. This will allow access to the screws that secure the window regulator, which must be loosened; by disconnecting the connectors, you can also remove the old window regulator and replace it with a new one.
