How to Replace the Reverse Light Bulb with an LED in the Chevrolet Equinox

Today, you will learn how to replace the reverse light bulb with an equivalent LED. After purchasing the correct LED bulb for your vehicle model (the type is indicated in the owner's manual), start by opening the rear compartment. Use a flathead screwdriver to remove the headlight covers and unscrew the two mounting screws. Carefully pull out the headlight and rotate the reverse light socket a quarter turn to the left. Remove the bulb and insert the LED bulb. Reinsert the socket and turn it a quarter turn clockwise to secure it in place. Reinstall the headlight, making sure to align the plastic clips, then insert and tighten the screws and covers.
