Resetting the Service Light on the Chevrolet Traverse

After changing the engine oil on the Chevrolet Traverse, you need to reset the system that alerts you with a message on the dashboard about this important maintenance. Sit in the driver's seat, press the start button to turn on the vehicle, and using the arrow keys on the right side of the steering wheel, scroll through the menu until the engine oil life screen appears on the center display. Press the button in the center of the arrows, and with the right arrow, select "yes" to complete the reset.
