How to Replace the Alternator on a Daewoo Matiz

Model: Chevrolet Matiz MK 1 - Years 1998-2010

If the battery warning light remains on the dashboard even with the engine running, it means the alternator is not charging the battery. To replace it with a new or refurbished one, lift the vehicle and work from underneath, as the alternator is located at the bottom of the engine on the passenger side, near the driveshaft. Start by disconnecting the battery, then remove the auxiliary belt, disconnect the cables from the alternator, and proceed to remove the mounting bolts from the support bracket by extracting it from below. Follow the reverse order for the installation of the new alternator.
