Alternator repair instructions
Model: Chevrolet Matiz
MK 1
- Years 1998-2010 If the battery warning light remains on on the instrument panel, then it means that the alternator has stopped recharging due to a fault in the regulator plate which also includes the brushes: performing this repair is quite simple, above all because it is very easy to find the spare. Then start by disconnecting the battery poles and then remove the alternator from its seat; once placed on the bench, remove the plastic cover to access the plate, unsolder the winding contacts and remove the old plate to be able to install the new one, subsequently welding the contacts and removing the stop from the brushes; then proceed backwards to install the alternator and check that the battery warning light remains off after starting the engine.

How do you reset the tire pressure light on the Toyota Aygo X?![]() To reset the tire pressure warning light on the Toyota Aygo X, you need to inflate the tires until they reach the recommended pressure value: this will be indicated on the sticker attached to the driver's side door pillar. Once the tires are inflated, you can go inside the cabin and turn on the instrument panel: after it has been turned on, you can open the glove box on the passenger side and locate the SET button that must be held down to turn off the warning light. by ScegliAuto More videos
