What does the oil light with a wrench indicate in the Chevrolet Captiva?

If the oil warning light and a wrench symbol have lit up on the instrument panel of our Chevrolet Captiva, it means it's time to have a service at our trusted workshop. Once this is done, it will be possible to manually reset the warning light following the simple procedure shown in this video. First, let's go inside the cabin, then turn on the instrument panel, not the engine, and press the accelerator pedal all the way down three times in a row. Restart the vehicle afterwards and check that the reset has been successful.
