Chrysler Pt Cruiser - Video tutorial

Model: Chrysler Pt Cruiser MK 1 - Years 2000-2010
Part: Battery
Operation: Chrysler PT Cruiser battery replacement

Needed: 10 and 13 socket wrenches, screwdriver. The procedure shown is for a 2004 PT Cruiser, but the procedure is the same for other models as well, as there is only one generation produced from 2000 to 2010. The battery is in a difficult position to reach and the first thing is to do is disconnect the mass air sensor by moving the trigger switch placed on it. With an 8 wrench, loosen the suction pipe, both on the filter side and on the engine side. The filter unit is held by two metal clips, just snap them and the lid will be free to be extracted. Then remove the actual filter, simply using your hands, then pull the remaining part of the assembly upwards to free the battery access area. During extraction, pay attention to the tube attached to the side of the filter box which must also be removed manually. With the 13 wrench remove the battery retainer at the bottom of the bonnet and with the 10 wrench remove first the negative pole and then the positive one. Remove the battery carefully. Follow the procedure in reverse, replacing the battery, tightening the 13 lock, the poles and replacing the filter box and the mass air sensor.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
