Replacing the power steering belt on the Chrysler PT Cruiser may seem complicated, but it is actually quite simple. Follow these steps in this tutorial. First, lift the front right side of the vehicle with a jack, taking all necessary precautions. Then, remove the right wheel and open the bonnet. Once done, locate the belt in question, which extends to the right, then cut it and attach the replacement to the power steering pump pulley. Finally, pass it outside the tensioner and attach the opposite end to the crankshaft pulley.
