How to Disable Eco Mode on Citroen and Peugeot

Model: Citroen C3 Aircross MK 1 - Years 2017-2024

As mentioned by the YouTuber, the Citroen C3 Aircross in the video (but all Citroen or Peugeot models), enter "Eco mode" after any intervention that lowers the voltage, a battery-shaped warning light flashes and many functions (radio, air conditioning) deactivate. The official solution is to use a compatible diagnostic scanner, Diagbox, to reset the onboard computer mode. The alternative proposed in the video is as follows: open the bonnet and locate the fuse box next to the battery. Look for a 3 PIN connector, with only 2 PINs occupied by fuses, called SHUNT or SH, which has three possible positions for the two fuses. With the engine off, move the entire 2-fuse connector from its current position to the central one of the three available. Wait 30 seconds for the car to "sleep" all electronics; move the connector to the third remaining position (not the starting one). Turn on the ignition. The battery warning light should have stopped flashing, and Eco mode is disabled. The logic of the trick is that the shunt tells the car whether it is in maintenance mode or driving mode. By moving it, you trick the computer into believing that the alarm has been reset.
