How to Change the Engine Air Filter in a Citroen Berlingo

To replace the engine air filter in a Citroen Berlingo, turn off the engine and open the bonnet. Locate the air filter box in the engine compartment and remove the cover by unscrewing the screws or unclipping the clips holding it in place, depending on the version. Carefully lift the cover and extract the old filter from its housing. Before installing the new filter, clean the inside of the box to remove any dust or dirt, preventing it from entering the intake duct. Insert the new filter element, ensuring it is positioned correctly as indicated by the component. Make sure the seal adheres properly along the edge of the box, then reposition the cover and secure it again. Check that all connections are tight, then close the bonnet and start the engine to verify correct operation.
