Replacement of Belt and Tensioner

Model: Citroen Xsara Picasso MK 1 - Years 1999-2012

Obtain the replacement belts, loosen the wheel nuts, and lift the vehicle securely. Remove the bolts and take off the wheel, brake, wing, and cover. Remove the engine cover. Take off the belt cover. Position the engine at top dead centre. Remove the protective cover and, using a spanner and the appropriate tool, lock the pulley and loosen the tensioner. Lever the tensioner to relieve tension and remove the belt. Remove the bolts from the two tensioner supports and take them out. Replace the pulleys and tensioners with new parts, ensuring all components are reassembled correctly. Fit the tensioners and new belts according to the assembly diagram.
