How to Replace the Gear Knob on the Citroën C4?

To replace the gear knob on the Citroën C4, detach the retaining clips that secure the leather gaiter to the base of the centre console. By removing the clips, you can lift the gaiter and remove the internal retaining ring that secures it to the knob. This should then be rotated counterclockwise and removed along with the gaiter. Once the gaiter and knob are removed, insert the new replacement parts. The new knob should be screwed on, with the retaining ring placed at its base, and the gaiter should be clipped back into its housing.
